ABOUT ME

Osmar Yahir Martinez is an dancer, singer, and actor currently based in Texas. He recently graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University.

Osmar is originally from Nueva Ciudad Guerrero, Tamaulipas, Mexico where he discovered his love for the arts at a very young age. Having moved to the United States, he began to audition for local productions which have aided his craft. Soon after, he began taking dance classes at "Dancentre of Edinburg" and "Melba's School of Dance" where he was taught all forms of dance. Eager for more, he sought out a degree at SHSU.

Since graduating (May 2019), Osmar has been working professionally and looks forward to further his career as a performer. Sharing his talents with people is not only his passion, but his reason of motivation to help inspire others as much as performing inspired him.
